Liquid ring vacuum pumps are not dry pumps (they are really not dry) but working without any lubrication and OILFREE.

Liquid ring pumps offer an isothermal compression as the gas is continuously cooled by the liquid ring.

Those two characteristics oilfree and isothermal (cold) are especially important:

- for the handling of "thermosensitive"-gases, like for example Ozone (O3) which can compressed or recovered at tempeartures lower than 40°C only.

- for the compression of gases with a risk of polymerisation in the polymer production (MMA, VCM,..).
